Heather Halpin Benkley, formally a high fashion print and runway model was featured in Bride’s Magazine. She modeled for Chanel and many other prominent designers. Heather was a finalist and talent winner in the 1984 Miss Texas America Pageant. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and studied vocal performance abroad in Austria. Heather sang professionally with “Theater under the Stars” and “Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company” in Houston Texas.
Heather has been involved in full time ministry for the past nineteen years. She is the founder of “Charisma” Personal Image Development Program which was first introduced at the 1988 General Conference. Heather has spoken at numerous ladies retreats, youth camps and conferences throughout the U.P.C.I.
Heather served as youth pastor for three years at Dallas First Church under the ministry of Tom and Gayla Foster. She also served on the Texas District sectional Youth Committee and was the founder and director of Dallas Metro Youth Choir. Heather also founded “WINGS” national woman’s conference.
Currently, she and her husband Fred Benkley pastor in Danvers, Massachusetts. Heather serves on the Massachusetts – Rhode Island District Ladies Committee and is the founder and Director of New England Youth Choir. Heather is now serving on the national Committee for Today’s Christian Girl.
Heather enjoys more than anything else spending time with her husband Fred and being a full time mom to her miracle daughter, Brianna Marie Benkley.
