Donna
Gleason
Pollard
was
only
six
years
old
when
Grandfather
Gleason
moved
to
Oregon
after
35
years
as a
Bible
School
Music
Director. At
his
side
she
learned
about
harmony,
choirs
and
anointed
music.
At
the
age
of
fifteen
Donna
took
her
grandfather’s
place
as
choir
director. From
that
time
to
present,
she
directs
two
local
church
choirs
and
has
worked
with
camp
choirs
as
well
as
state-wide
choirs.
A
great
highlight
in
her
life
was
the
opportunity
to
take
a
tour
choir
to
Europe
in
1999,
conducting
choir
presentations
in
Holland,
Germany
and
the
European
Conference. One
of
the
spectacular
moments
on
that
tour
was
singing
in
the
beautiful
fifteenth
century
“Hall
of
Knights.” Queen
Beatrix
of
the
Netherlands
makes
an
annual
visit
there
in
her
golden
carriage
and
addresses
the
leaders
of
her
nation. In
the
“throne
room,”
Donna’s
choir
sang
the
first
apostolic
music
ever
to
be
heard
in
that
building!
Grandmother
Gleason
also
had
a
profound
effect
on
Donna’s
life
and
at
an
early
age
introduced
her
to
the
adventurous
world
of
books.
Donna
and
Grama
Gleason
swap
favorite
books
and
enjoy
discovering
new
authors.
